The webinar will begin with an introduction to measuring principles and applications of NDT for civil engineering.
Three topics will then be described in detail:
(1) Locating and imaging structural elements and defects using Eddy Current Testing, Ground Penetrating Radar and Ultrasonic Tomography,
(2) Evaluation of concrete compressive strength using rebound hammer testing and ultrasonic pulse velocity testing,
(3) Corrosion assessment of reinforced concrete using electrical methods.
