SGNDT Certification Scheme – Competence Through Accreditation
NDTSS manages the Singapore NDT Certification Scheme (SGNDT), accredited by the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) under ISO/IEC 17024.
Scope of Certification (aligned with ISO 9712:2021):

Radiographic Testing (RT, including Digital RT & Computed Radiography) -
Ultrasonic Testing (UT, PAUT, TOFD) -
Eddy Current Testing (ET) -
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) -
Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) -
Visual Testing (VT) -
Infrared Thermal Testing (IR) – Unaccredited

Authorized Training organization (ATO’s): Provide training courses and ensure compliance with syllabi. -
Authorized Qualifying Bodies (AQBs): Develop Qualification, Examination and manage exam centres in collaboration with NDTSS in accordance with approved schemes. -
Authorized Examination Centres (AECs): Conduct independent examinations with invigilated assessments under the supervision of AQB.

Globally recognized by ICNDT’s Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA). -
Industry-driven qualification ensuring relevance to Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Civil, and Marine sectors. -
Continuous surveillance and renewal process to maintain technical integrity.
