Seminar – Non-Contact Vibration Measurement

Conventional vibration analysis and/or non-destructive testing revolves around accelerometers,
strain gauges etc. where measurement is performed with contact of sample and would typically
require an Engineer at measurement location, even if access is difficult. A non-contact
measurement technique via Laser Doppler Vibrometry provides the possibility of acquiring
vibration data from a distance of >300m, absolving the requirements of accessing difficult,
sensitive locations.
